
Seneliso Nkonyeni
Seneliso Nkonyeni is a dedicated and visionary leader committed to advancing the rights, inclusion, and well-being of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community in South Africa. He drives inclusive, language-accessible healthcare and services through innovative and purpose-driven leadership.
He holds an Honours degree in Information Science from the University of Zululand, with expertise in information literacy, sustainable partnership development, and strategic innovation.
Currently serving as Director of the Deaf Care Healthcare Initiative, Mr Nkonyeni champions effective communication, stakeholder collaboration, and community-centred solutions. His work focuses on strengthening community cohesion, promoting educational equity, and improving institutional communication frameworks.
Through his leadership, he seeks to shape and strengthen inclusive sign language access and systems, contributing to a more equitable and accessible future for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals.
